Sodium Chlorite powder, 80% technical grade is an excellent chlorine (Cl2) free alternative to traditional swimming poos chemicals. Also used for generating chlorine dioxide used in water treatment, food cleaning and surface sanitation.

Note: If also purchasing citric acid powder, you will need about 2 lb citric acid powder for every lb sodium chlorite powder for making 1:1 ratio solutions for activation.

Notes: 80% is the highest concentration available for due to the way this product is manufactured. The product starts off as flakes but is usually ground up to make handling and handling easier. A 28% (w/w) solution will produce 23% sodium chlorite concentration.
